  • Just had a go at this 1st time,took about 1 hour heating a metal tube and dampening the wood,you made it seem so easy and more accurate,very well done.

  • when i tried this by starting at the waist the wood snapped a the edges. and i went SLOW

    It most likely wasn't hot enough.....

  • Hi... nice all... just a question. The wood is wet when you put between the steel boats

  • @netarg77 The wood is damp, not wet. Just a light misting of water, or a quick "wipe" with a lightly wetted rag.

    I use a silicone blanket(5 or 6 watts/sq.in).
