If you're going to use Rush( and I'm glad to see them getting recognized) please make it cool. This was annoying. You air-drum when you jam to Rush, you don't dance like some jackass listening to a Poison tune.
The only good thing And I mean THE ONLY GOOD THING about this Commercial was Limelight From Rush. Pepsi should of used the Read Band instead.. maybe then Not Only will Rock Band sell but Pepsi will too. Just throwing it out there Pepsi

Listen, if you're going to put a Rush song in a commercial, at least ATTEMPT to make the song/band look good. Rush is too awesome for...whatever that was.
@pima262 You and me are way too supportive (as we and others should be) of a kick-ass band like RUSH. I think this was a poor attempt at the ad trying to be "funny" (as commercials seem to always have to be comedies) only this one, unfortunately, was at RUSH's expense. I agree with you 100 percent!
@pima262 i dont think u understand that is not the original song. That video was edited to make it remotley look like he was singing a rush song. People are so gullible! But i do agree with you on the rush is too awesome especially for this dudes crappy editing skills!

Actually, I don't think they need Rush's permission, they really don't care, I think they need Rock Band's permission though, so maybe it just seems like Rush is being pulled in to Pepsi and MTV and etc.
Too bad this era of Rush (and Limelight) was part of the Mercury/UMG collection, not that of Atlantic/WMG -- cool ad tho
