  • Did you use an after effect flare at 1:14 on the light?

  • What were your camera settings, for some reason my T2i footage doesn't look as good as this. Its really grainy.

  • interesting; very. good use of angles motion; lacked some sound editing, but other than that was damn good

  • watch chirstoper nolans short film doodlebug. its a lot like this one.

  • why does this vid have so many dislikes. while it could be better, i don't think it is as bad as that.

  • wat do u recommend 60d or 550d ?

  • Too much dead space. Just some constructive criticism.

  • Like everyone else, really liked the concept, and I thought it was well executed, just needed more dramatic sound fx when the beating occurs.

  • yeh this is relly good but have you got any ideas for a 2min short film but it cant be like horror or anyhing?

  • nice the concept was dope!

  • @BREEZYOFFICIAL thanks

  • I love the concept, and I like some of the first person shots. Sound could have been better though. And how did he not notice he was beating himself up? Ha if it were darker I could understand. Not hating, trying to give constructive criticism, I liked it :)

  • @ONIProductionsLtd Thanks for the creative comments :)

  • Check my vid, in AE with canon T2i as well. watch?v=bhtPW7NZQZI

  • someone has watched timecrimes

  • its the same as Christopher Nolan's short film doodlebug!!!!

  • @samtachyons That's what I was gonna say

  • Cool concept. Nicely done. That would be a trippy full length feature.

  • I liked it. check out my stuff if you will

  • Great job,, just 2 things, make the footage 1280x534 = 2.40:1 ratio, gives it a cinema look, and like other comments, some 'hit' soundeffects while you where beating the guy ;)

  • Great work, but you need to add more sound fx to actions...everything else is amazing!!

  • The suspense building went pretty well. Suspense done right is not easy to find on youtube. A few angles and cuts were a little questionable, but with one exception, it was good overall. That exception comes during the beating scene. You spent all the film, up to that point from the character's POV. When he attacked himself, however, you inexplicably switched from the attacker's POV to the victim's. That should've waited until the attacker became the victim.

  • well the idea is good, but some kind of improvements can be done ;) too much "day for night" effect imho

  • That was really good! Why so many dislikes? :o)

  • LMAO Director: Harry Morphakis

    Man: Robbie Christou

  • lol you look like a combo of Zac Efron and Paul McCartney

  • lol you look like Zac Efron

  • Wow those shaving bumps were gruesome, nice work tho

  • hi what lenses/settings did you use here? :)

  • @AlexanderAmadeus I used the basic 18-55mm canon lens for the wide angles and the Nkon 50mm f1.8 for all other shots

  • @1292Productions and in terms of settings, I shot ISO 1600, lowest aperture possible and used the Kodachrome 50 picture profile and shutter at 1/50 all the way through. 1080p 24fps

  • cool concept

  • Great short film... where did you get this music from? - thanks ;)

  • @pascallity found it on a royalty free site while looking for suspense music

  • @1292Productions do you mind sharing the name of that site my friend!!!???

  • @lp22hot can't remember the site but the music title was: "Behind the looking glass". Dunno if that helps

  • sorry, but the acting killed it...big. not in a good way either

  • excellent

  • @muttsa thanks

  • @muttsa thanks

  • good idea's..

  • @cromeart cheers

  • @3orangeidiots2010 cheers

  • i liked alot of the shots, and very nicely lit. I just used this camera for my latest short film called 'Conscience'. Go watch it on my channel if you like.

  • Good Concept, poor execution

  • sound effects PLEASE!!! :P

  • How many cameras did you use

  • @famyoungs just one

  • You need sound FX for the hits.

  • I think the scope 2.40:1 ratio would've been nice in this video =)

  • @cesarbrandi Hopefully in the next one :) Stay tuned!!!

  • what editing software did you use?

  • @ThatWildChick Final Cut Pro 7

  • good job. Very good shots and editing keep up the good work.

  • GREAT IDEA....crappy production

  • Cool short man, I got it before the punchline :-)

  • really like the idea .. and im pretty sure i get it ..lol...nice work!!

  • im going to troll and say..bad

  • This is some great stuff. I love the look!

  • @redepoch76 Thanks

  • is that that douchbag zach effron because that dudes pretty queer

  • @Bemersd If you having nothing nice to say, then don't say anything!

  • u developed fear with the sound effects, but the only bad thing about it is that it's a copy 90% & u know from where. being a cliche movie i did not like it

  • @cinemaa1 Everyone keeps saying its copied from Doodlebug, but I saw it a month after I shot Looped, I know arguing isn't going to do much good and I do agree they are very similar yet I have my own message that I am trying to send out through the use of "one hurting oneself" Take from that what you will.

  • 1292Productions thanks!

  • is compresed?mpg,avi,mp4?

  • @MPRODUCTION2010 yeah, h.264 compression, nowhere near as clear as the original ProRes file

  • @1292Productions wait, what? i thought 60d produce h.264 directly?

  • @themorningperson sorry, it does, but I convert the files to ProRes 422 on my computer for editing, and then reconvert it using the h.264 compression for the web

  • I'm just gonna take a wild guess and say that reminds me of Chris Nolan. Anyone?

  • @CrazyDelcyTV Yeah, everyone has mentioned that

  • you did good check my video pls

  • Doodlebug....

  • @deepban what's that?

  • @1292Productions Its a great short. Don't get me wrong...but it just reminds me of a short film by Christopher Nolan called Doodle Bug. I think you can find it on You Tube...

    Cheers and make more movies.

  • @deepban I just watched it and I see what you mean, cheers for the encouragement!

  • gud work bro:)

  • @shehryaar123 Cheers mate
