John Bradshaw Layfield is in the top ten 10 longest WWE Champions in history so in my book hes not a transitional WWE Champion, hes an awesome WWE Champion. JBL cheated a lot to retain the WWE Title but thats what heels are meant to do lol.

@EPICSCHOOLBOY He was a champion while the WWE were in a transitional phase, because at the time, they had no big stars, no number one guy. He did his job in getting plenty of heat so that when Cena went over him, he became the next big thing. Transition from Brock to Cena and Batista.

As I look back at this Royal Rumble PPV, the thing that comes to my mind was the Rumble match. I say this because Tazz annoyed the hell out of me in this match. Every time a Smackdown superstar made his way to the ring, he got all happy-go lucky and I'm thinking to myselff, "Alright, Tazz I get it, you want a Smackdown guy to win, enough already!" Also Batista winning this Rumble was the first step for the Animal to become a big star in the WWE.

Also WWE really hurt Orton by having him lose strap so fast,,,in my Opinion if they wanted to Push him so fast they Should of had him Hold the Strap for a little while...maybe Like Summerslam he wins it,and Orton looses it at Survivor series,,That way he has a Good 3 months reign,,,the way they did it was TERRIBLE..because Orton never really fully recovered from that Until 2007,,,But the Undertaker Fued Sure as hell Helped Bring him back to legit status

i Thought he RUmble Match was Solid,I liked the fact that Edge was in final Three,Angle attacking HBK was Good,Since it blew off towards their Amazing Fued at Mania, JBL vs Angle vs Show was very good Match,Entertaining,,,,,,Orton vs HHH was OK,,,,But Orton got a concussion during match and made the match very stalled...Overall PPV Grade B-

The 3rd spot of the Rumble is Snitsky MURDERING Paul London and eliminating him from the match with one clothesline

Actually, he tore only one quad entering the Ring, but when he refused help going backstage, he tore his OTHER quad. Also, the ending was originally supposed to be Cena getting eliminated JUST before Batista landed, and McMahon was mad when he came to the ring because he was the PPV was going beyond the time they paid for due to the extra time spent.
