Nothing is this simple. Get the people brushed up on micro bio, not simple 3rd grade craft projects.

i'm sure these countries would have more sanitary ways of disposing waste but they simply can't afford it.

and 2/5's of the world is a hell of alot of people.

Still, there are creative ways to set up sanitation cheaply, but the education required to implement it such as basic micro biology would cost even more than the "simple solution". still, I would spend money to educate others of such basic sciences if it would give them a fighting chance of creating an independent civilization.

this problem is much harder to solve than is implied by this video. its more like a 100-year cultural process, rather than a quick 10-step process. getting every last person to suddenly "implement a plan and change" may seem normal here in western society. this concept does not come easily to 2/5 of the world.

Preparation of this video is good and easily understandable by any layman. Similarly prpare ill-effects of open defectation and advantages of having different models of toilet as per geography and geology also could be the next step to move forward
