@fangdluvr That's civilization for you. In 30 years, we will rule Earth's 'Mother Nature'. In maybe 2 centuries, we will rule the forces of nature, in-atmosphere and out. Civilization is the seperation of one intellectually dominant species from the rest, in an effort to help the species survive forever, inevitably. I'm sure there's other civilizations out there. There has to be, they've had 14 billion years, and it only takes less than 8000 years for a species to evolve intelligence like that.

You should have adopted a non-offensive tone then, particularly since people usually by "hurting the planet" etc. don't mean actually damaging the cosmic object, just hurting the ecosystems consisting of "unsignificant" life forms living on it, which do happen to be both vulnerable and important to our race.

So that's why I found your technical note, albeit not incorrect, a bit out-of-place and rude. I don't mean any moralizing, just explaining myself.
