Analog TV broadcasting of CJON-TV in St. John's ends July 11, 2011, well ahead of the deadline of August 31, 2011. For the next three weeks, NTV's main transmitter in St. John's will be upgraded from analog to digital, providing a hi-def over-the-air signal to viewers there.
