Absolutely incredible. The best I've done was 35 MPH, (with a Peter Lynn buggy and 5 meter Peel) and that felt like I was smokin'. I can't even imagine in the 50's. Felt I was running at the limit of the Peel's top forward speed, so I've picked up a 3 pack of the Flexifoil Stacker 6's. That should provide unlimited forward speed. Question is, will it get me into the 50's? Only time will tell!!
Good run!..I suggest you buy a libre,JoJo,Airea or a PKD kite, all brands of current or former worldchampions in all classes..Looks great your buggy though Nice polish!!I stick to my libre V-max with fatties..Anyway,come visit some danish buggydrivers at Romo anytime..(yes,we have beer).
hey im taking up kite buggying first time i have a 3.5m bullet i dont have a kite buggy as nice as that tho =[ is that a peter lyn buggy because i have a short axle kite buggy lol
Hey, I know what this feels like; when you've got the right combination of wind speed/direction, tide and empty (and fast) beach. It makes you feel very alive! Thanks for your comment.
Just to make a comment here, before it gets asked. The video is in real time and has not ben sped up or altered in anyway, virtually all the runs you see in this video I am doing 50+mph, even with Dane sat on my axle. Hope you enjoy the ride.
You are my new hero.

I would advice you to use shorter lines (15m is ggod) and thiner wheels on your buggy.
You'll see a huge gain in control and speed.

Love to erhik, thanks
popeyethewelder 4 years ago
you rock like your bugs and your style
how do you keep your bug so shiney ?
didnt read about that on your site
erhik 4 years ago
Once they are shiney, they are very easy to keep clean, quick rince with a hose and dry...takes about 3 minutes.
To get them shiney in the first place, use sisal mops...allow plenty of time

what size kite are you using???
gohiegohie 4 years ago
Very impressive - but then your buggies are built like brick wotsits :-)
I'm sure you can go faster than that!
