Great vocals by Wynn Stewart (and of course Don Rich's harmony). It was rather common back then for the guest star on a TV country show to be backed by the star/host's band (Buckaroos here, Wagonmasters on the Porter Wagoner Show, etc.). Some of these were such great bands that you knew you would be getting an excellent performance. Same holds true today when guests are backed by the Fabulous Superlatives on the Marty Stuart Show.
