its awesome how you can just walk over a pit to without falling and how your character seems to walk backwards at times. seems like codes or a hacked rom to me

The floating is done by turboing the A button once the Pegasus Boots are obtained.

By changing direction every second frame, holding left/up while pressing right/down every second frame, I'm able to increase my walking speed by 33% while walking up and to the left. This can also be used to walk backwards with the same speed.

What's great about this tas is that you can't skip the videos - so you can still mostly enjoy the games slow parts without them having to be skipped for speed :D
