I ran across these words this morning in James 4:10 which are so true then I started singing the song and searched for it on utube and so excited that it's here. So just been playing it and singing it. Thanks so much for recording it. This is a blessing to my heart to stay humble and trust God. Amen

Funny how religion adapts itself to it's modern societies and cultures.

In modern ages it was considered good to burn witches and homosexuals "in the name of the Lord Almighty", but now priests ignore this because the society has realised there is nothing wrong with these things. my old camp used to sing this as we were leaving the campfire for that night just thinking about it gives me chills, you could feel the Lord around you within the trees and your camp mates. We would say the Lord's Prayer and we started out whispering and ended shouting, it is a amazing thing to do in a forest. You can hear yourself echo once your done. :D

If so, than how do you know what Jesus really looks like because there is no discription of jesus in the bible. @doublethetrouble2 Well while you are correct that the bible doesn't give a clear representation as to what Jesus looks like there are some biblical references giving us an idea. At this time I can't recall the books but I believe it's in Isaiah and in Luke it does mention that he have olive colored skin and dark long hair. Once I recall the actual verses I will post them to you.

Hearing this version of "Humble Thyself..." reminded me of a more dramatic instrumental version. As I remember, both versions are on a compact disc called "Double Praise 3". If you happen to have that instrumental track on hand...could you please include it sometime? :)

Family Radio played a lot of the instrumental Praise songs, along with the choral renditions of classic hymns. I loved that music very much. They don't play the Praise songs anymore; which I think is kinda sad.
