I'm a 14 year old girl and I also cried when I first heard this in my civics class yesterday. I didn't cry loud enough for people to know, but I did cry. On top of the obvious fact that he was killed for all the wrong reasons, he was cute!!!! -:( And idk why but I'm scared now. Idk what I'm scared of. It's not like these types of things happen as often anymore, though there still are hate groups such as the KKK. Idk, I'm just scared. It might just be the picture of his body that scared me.

This is really a disturbing thing that happened to a 14yr old boy. I'm from Mississippi & the harsh realities of what life was like before I was born is upsetting. I can't believe how white men thought they were so much superior than a black man. There was no need to torture a child to that extent or do anything at all for that matter. All I can do is pray for Emmett's soul. I know that on judgement day our Almighty God will do what is just in His eyes.
Believe me they suffered in this life too before they passed. We just didn't hear anything about it. You know carolyn bryant suffered too for being a grown woman initiating the whole thing.
I'm afraid that won't happen on this side of life. But they will certainly pay in the next one. The Judge of the Universe takes no prisoners and plays no games. Those two wretches who escaped justice this time will stand before the Supreme Court Of The Universe next time.

Read his Mom's book if you can find it - she wrote it before she died, telling all she knew at the time (Emmitt's cousins spoke up more once she died - check out the YT vids on it). There were black men involved in this killing too, the pawns forced to do most of the damage (otherwsie they would have been hung out to dry)
There are a few incorrrect things stated on this vid, but overall good.
In the end, it's funny how the murderers, their wives, and the sheriffs all had horrible deaths. God is good.
