The birds in 'Some Birds' are pretty much perpendicular to the viewer. This is shown at 1:15 to 1:22. I agree that if they were 'coming at you', they would speed up. That is simply not the case.

So are you saying the birds are an overlay, initially timed with the slowed down footage, such that when it went to normal speed the overlay went shooting by? I guess that is possible. If the above is true then the midpoint of the image is no longer meaningful, it is merely coincidental. We need to look at the flock closely and examine if when the midpoint is crossed, if fractions of the flock accelerate only as they pass the midpoint.

The birds in 'Some Birds' are pretty much perpendicular to the viewer. This is shown at 1:15 to 1:22. I agree that if they were 'coming at you', they would speed up. That is simply not the case.
As for the pixel cloud issue, it cannot be debated over youtube flv files. My CNN files are high res - so, alas, this can't be done here.

Actually, [please read above posts again] I was posting *someone else's* (srstacy's, I think) comments because he/she thought Shack was avoiding his "evidence", and I knew that Shack would address it.
I already knew that moment of footage was heavily f*cked with before "Some Birds" came out (although I'd asked Shack if it might be an erased chopper flying by).
So, I'm definitely not ignoring any fakery facts, but I am awaiting your apology. :)

That statement seems to suggest the heart of the matter regarding motivation for fake videos. To cover up what really happened? or to lead us to believe a certain other thing happened? In other words, video fakery might imply no planes, or possibly different planes, or one plane/ one missal. Definitely we should not give media, government, or foreign terrorists the benefit of the doubt.

I believe this overlay was made to "augment the reality" of this dull, redigitized view of Manhattan. In other words, to "add some life" to the static scenery. The video fakery team probably just made the birds accelerate thinking they would look really real...

That is ironic, isn't it? You detect that it is an overlay because it is sped up unnaturally, and this speeding up was done, you say, to make the image appear more natural. For some reason I am curious to find if control of the view of WTC could be achieved by fusing two halves of an image together. Perhaps this sounds unduly perverse? I don't know.

Well, we can't be sure of how these birds got accelerated (while staying in close formation...)Two halves of an image? Hmm, I'd rather suggest the birds overlay was speeded up too abruptly - they probably thought that leaving them at constant speed would make them look unnatural/robotic.

Impressive. The first time I saw birds on 9/11 footage I assumed it was a later addition, but NO! This is from "live" 9/11 footage!! Some "footage" of this sim city reality was prepared so they could show the smoke, which is real, in a believable slow motion nobody'd notice to fill time.
They accidentally ran it full speed, so we have perky smoke and very fast birds. Sometimes the smoke gets real lazy, but they have something going on that's augmented to catch your eye.

So are you saying the birds are an overlay, initially timed with the slowed down footage, such that when it went to normal speed the overlay went shooting by? I guess that is possible. If the above is true then the midpoint of the image is no longer meaningful, it is merely coincidental. We need to look at the flock closely and examine if when the midpoint is crossed, if fractions of the flock accelerate only as they pass the midpoint.

FOX testing if we'd notice CGI birds?Pause 00.24-.29 on/off you will see,the smoke is 'frozen'when the birds were 'on' the smoke,when before that moment it is moving upwards.You must pause to see this because of the 'pan'.Great work showing the time change,and this method could account for frame/time discrepencies as in the 'plane' videos themselves.

Just a heads up for all interested parties. The planes were pasted in.Watch the smoke in some of the videos when the plane is in the frame.The smoke freezes.We've been duped by CGI planes.CNN,NY Times,Kelly Guenther pics exposed.Use Kelly's stills to make a movie. You will see it matches CNN's movie exactly, and the smoke doesn't move.Caught red handed.
