Because this is the classic trademark of Godzilla. He is inverlerable to any action by the army, he represents the terrors of the modern, "nuclear" age, an the effects are realised by the use of miniatures and costumes. The inverntort of the monster set that standard 56 years ago. Over the time the use of men in suits and the monster itself have become inseperable. I personly prefer a suit rather than CG monsters.

@tremor209 Because the suit is more badass and lifelike. Fuck CGI shit... you seen what that did for the poor excuse, called the American Godzilla. They did use CGI to make the American Godzilla in Final Wars... and suit Godzilla killed his stupid ass. lol
