If they are coming in from the East (rw23) then the best spot to watch incoming planes is Airport Rd. and Orlando Drive.. Theres a Wendys/Tim Hortons there and they have picnic tables and parking.. If they are coming form the West (rw 5) then Dixie Rd & Director Gate.. Eastern Approaches are better for spotting though..

funny thing i was flying home to thunder bay that day and we taxied right by it we were in a CRJ-100 it was HUGE we were tiny

I saw that fly over my house that day! I was so amazed at the size. It flies over my house every Monday, Wednesday and Friday!
