Each car has a different trunk size and that size is like a box! if you have you speakers 5 inches from your trunk facing out it sounds better then 20 inches away. "try it" And in this case how he has either 1 or 2 things. ports in the back! or its sealed!

flip it means turn the subs so they are facing the back of your trunck and have then as close to the back as possible wile still being able to close your trunck... it will sound louder u will feel it more as well i have the same set up and it makes for a good massage... and to @pimpinmota1 thats what dynamat and door speakers are for u should never use sube for words and highs

@anthony100000000 Hey man, Im pretty sure that the subs are wired together for a 2 ohm load inside the box, so the final output is 2 ohms for both subs. He's pushin 750 watts rms at two ohms and thos subs can handle 800 watts rms at 2 ohms since they're internally wired together. Actually hes prolly getting more like 850 watts rms, kicker always under rates their amps.

true, when i use kicker subs, i underpower em, my 2 12" L7s (1500RMS) im only running 1000watts RMS to it, and it hits hard, never had a problem with em

@anthony100000000 Hey man, Im pretty sure that the subs are wired together for a 2 ohm load inside the box, so the final output is 2 ohms for both subs. He's pushin 750 watts rms at two ohms and thos subs can handle 800 watts rms at 2 ohms since they're internally wired together. Actually hes prolly getting more like 850 watts rms, kicker always under rates their amps.

I kno the vid is old but turn the box around so the ports are facing back alwys hve the port face back unless u wall ur car off but curious r thse DVC2 or DVC4 an r thy wired in parallel or series an wht ohm did u wire them to cause knowing the kicker amp im pretty sure tht thy would sound better an be louder if u wired thm to 2 or 1 ohm an i recommend using parallel wiring cause i hve cvr's to an a 2000watt treo engineering amp thy hit 142 in a sealed box(.75 cubes) mustang trunks r small btw..

is that amp big enough for the subs because it makes 750 rms at 2 ohms and the subs are 400rms at 4 ohms so wouldnt you need 800 rms at 4 ohms please help i dono much about this ohms stuff. if he was to wire it up to be 4 ohms wouldnt the amp shit it self

@pimpinmota1 it will sound better inside the car but it would make the trunk rattle like a b*tch. ive got the box the same way in my car. i had the subs facing the trunk first and i couldnt stand the rattling.

In some cases it sound better facing the back, but in my case it sounds better facing the cabin of the car, and if your into competing you will get more db buy facing into the cabin. Instead of bouncing off the trunk and the vibration from the trunk loosing db and the irregular sound pressure pattern you will loose db, so its better to face them into the cabin. Your welcome.
