The term "African-American/black" is just an acknowledgement of our ppl, culture, history and struggle as a whole. Just because a bi/multi racial person isn't running down their entire genetic pool in one sentence, doesn't mean they don't acknowledge who they are. Being called African-American is considered respectful when referring to such. I don't see how a person with an ounce of "black blood" WOULDN'T be proud of that.
