Did you know that Hebrew uses no vowels, and that when translated, vowels were inserted to make words and phrases that could have very well been other words and phrases if other vowels had been added instead?

This movie is amazing! I watched it a little while ago and I loved it- it gives insight on why the bigots act the way they do, and it gave me some great points to use the next time a Bible-thumper attempts to tell me off!

When it came to interviewing everyday people, it seems the producers of the film used any argument or opinion that supported their viewpoint no matter how flawed, irrational, and underlying paradoxical the information presented was. It was painful to see a film like this rely so heavily on strict emotion, while at the same time trying to provide logical reasoning for how the Bible does not condemn homosexuality.

Second errancy is the goulash of religious leaders. Some radical preachers, such as Fred Phelps, were inserted into the film simply to be made a laughing stock. Other church leaders, such as John Shelby Spong, were heavily relied on as credible sources of Christian knowledge, when in fact, Mr. Spong is astronomically far from Christianity and could actually be classified as an “anti-Christ” by Biblical terms.

Both Roman 1 and 1 Timothy 1 were explained with horrendous care to surrounding context and conceptual understanding in this film. Not to mention the picking and poking at passages in Genesis and Exodus. Very poorly done if you have any significant theological knowledge and examine the passages for yourself.
