  • I just spoke to someone for what seemded like two years, this song is still going... goes on and as my heart beats = living i am alive.

  • @usakylie06

Im 17 and i listen to it cuz im able to understand it. the reason ppl dont lik older music is their minds dont understand wat goes into it so their brains subconsciously dismiss it as boring. they scientifically dont like it because they too stupid to understand it. thats a fact. why do you think all the unintelligent kids in highschools that dont understand basic english listen to rap and pop. its simple and repetitive. obviously u r one of those kids. have fun flippin my burgers

  • r u all fkin 97 or something im 13 and only listenin to this stupid shit cuz of a project lol;P

  • Way to be proud of your ignorance. Judging by your grammar (lack thereof) you're obviously not a good student. Now please go away.

  • @usakylie06 Thanks for showing me nothing but how stupid you are. Thank you! that'll be all.

  • Change the photo you fucking asshole.

  • If peeing your pants is cool, consider me Miles Davis.

  • I loved this song since I first heard it in 1992 but I didn't know it was Count Basie until 1998 when I watch Blazing Saddles for the millionth time and realized that that was Count Basie there.

  • I guess there wasn't a "one more once" after all.

  • Believe me or not, but I simply dindn't know Miles used to play with Basie. Sorry for me. Shame on me 4ever+

  • my favourite radio in gta iv

  • gta iv!!!!

  • I was about 12 or 13 years old when I first heard this in about 1957 or so. My father was a Basie fan and as his health started sliding away, I would bring tapes of Basie so that he could hear them. I still love this music although I played in a rock and roll band in the early 60s.

  • First time I heard this song I must have been about 9 or 10. It was in a Jerry Lewis movie. I think either "Cinderfella" or "Nutty Proferssor." Anyway, the Basie band comes rising out of thre dessert and Jerry does this crazy spastic dance to it. I've been in love with the song ever since.

  • gta4 in star junction

  • I love it! Especailly since its Miles on a Count Basie tune! No sarcasm here, Im all sincere.

  • I didn't notice the pic of Miles was zooming in until I restarted the song.

  • I've been looking for this version for the longest time! This is from the Verve label release. Too bad the endng was cut off. YouTube does that sometime. Try re-uploading it and see what happens.

  • Gee ,Miles sounded great on this

  • Out of all the big bands Court Basie is the best. There was no horn section like his and the total band was just super Basie was the working man;s band

  • We play this in our Jazz band. :)

  • You're too damn lazy, forget the Miles Davis pic and go get a proper pic of Count Basie!! There's no excuse but just plain laziness. Saying that, I'm a great fan of Miles, but right is right.

  • I'm in a HS jazz band. We are quite small as we are new, but hey small combo's are deadly. Jazz is now mostly and sadly elevator music to most people.
