Good show Sorors!!! I am so glad that my Sorors can be creative without having to steal steps. It seems that the AKAs cannot put on a show without stealing steps from Stomp the Yard this year and from my Sorors in 2007.

great show Sorors....u know everyone is ALWAYS coming for Alpha chapter. We don't need first EVERY year, as long as we hold down the community service...which A Chapter most DEFINITELY does! :-D

i was so underwhelmed.. i think they were even bored with their steps. restricted creativity has nothing to do with step execution. they dropped the ball. a well deserved 3rd place finish.

Sweetie, I'm not talking about just the Deltas, I'm talking about the Homecoming step show's theme PERIOD. Each team had to pick a decade and do their step routine based on that decade. IMO, that was wack because if you show footage of a decade, then the step team comes out different than their respective decades, then everybody's just wondering WTF, instead of letting the teams execute their own routine themes.  OVERALL, the show was boring for me as a Howard alum, compare to previous shows.

One thing I HATED with this show was that each step team had to work with a decade team. A LOT of the teams did NOT stick with their decade in terms of costumes and music, and I think most felt creatively restricted. I think all of the step teams would have done 1000 times better if they were able to come up with their own show's theme, do their own thing like they've always done. I mean gosh, the Alphas show were supposed to represent the 1930s, but they all looked like mini Malcolm Xs, lol.

The Alpha's theme had absolutely nothing to do with the show's theme.  They brought their routine from A&T (hence the journey to Aggieland) and didn't make any adjustments.

So am I. I was front row & they lost me within the first 2 minutes lol. I'm not a member, but was screaming for them right along with my friends who are. I still don't believe they deserved 3rd, but hopefully they will step their game up!! You could see the disappointment on their faces come award time, one girl even cried!!

Im having a hard time hearing or understanding what their show is about. What's the theme? (i know that their decade = the 70's)
