I am Joe. First of all, I would like to say that I am an American and love my country. I have many friends in both South Ossetia and Georgia. There are good and bad people no matter where you go to in the world. I do know that South Ossetian people did not want war with Georgia and only wanted to live in peace without fear of aggressions from Saakashvili.

S.Ossetia and Abhazia want independance like you and me, they don't want to be part of Georgia (and never wanted). They had referendums and if you beleive in democracy- it should be granted. Ossetia requested to join Russia in 1800s. But never asked to be part of Georgia.
