  • Explaining kenken in 3x3 and only in addition is really easy. But I'm having huge troubles trying to work on 5x5 kenken when all i find is 3x3 tutorials

    Please view my video on 4x4 KenKen; it should help you when doing a 5x5 puzzle.

    I teach high school, so I teach all my students in 9th grade how to do KenKen, usually the very first week of school. KenKen, of course, can be used at lower grade levels. Other teachers tell me that they have used it at the intermediate (grades 4-6) level.
