  • @TheWeeklySmoothie I think primates had a life expectancy less than half of what we have so why would I eat like them... I'm a big fan of eating clean so I approve of the foods they allow but it's kind of restrictive and doesn't exactly give you all the vitamins you really should be getting.

  • @rajfirt89 haha! I absolutely agree with you! me and my partner tried that diet solution that a friend of us recommend. He was all excited to lose weight but we doubt it the first time, we never we never believed in all these internet programs. And turns out it was the best diet program we ever tried, and we lost a TON of weight in a few weeks. Glad it really worked for you, too!

This is an undisputable clinical fact. If you do liver tests on most fruitarians, you will find elevated enzyme levels in all of them. Go and get a liver check done you'll see. And don't argue back UNTIL you do, otherwise its like a smoker saying his lungs are fine. Without a scan, you can't.

  • @milaangel29 you can eat as much veggies if you want (very very few calories) as for fruits you would have to eat a lot of fruit to really add the calories. its calories in calories out that simple.

  • @onlinekinar Sounds like anti-fruit ignorance. The trouble is: its the fat that blocks carbs and insulin from leaving the blood....and the pancreas keeps making insulin.

    The best way to lose is also the healthiest way. I recommend the 80/10/10 diet: all the fruit you can eat as long as you keep fat under 10% it won't cause glucose problems. It FIXES them. You'll not only lose fat, you can GAIN muscle.

    It's humans natural way of eating and will transform you to perfect health.

  • @Gary1111001 true but with the amount of sugar additives being put into food, its hard for the body to recognise whats actually being put into the body hence leading to insulin spikes.. natural protien however contains no sugar. its a natural appetite suppresent and natural source for our bodies to build muscle = increased lean body mass = faster metabolism = greater fat loss and control of weight... moderation is key but living off salads with dressings? might as well go have a diet soda..

  • @kla031 your reply didn't seem like it was for me. Salad doesn't have enough calories to live off(That'll lead to binging). I don't believe in suppression or moderation; We're made for large amounts of light, water-based food (Fruit). But people eat the wrong foods(Man-made) = too many calories = fat storage.

    The body can only use 50 grams of protein a day - found within any 2000 calorie diet.

  • @Gary1111001 no the reference to salads was just me having a go at her daily lunch and showing how a simple salad is not going to be effective in maintaing satiety. in terms to your claim of only 50g of protein a day,where did you get such information? fitness models and athletes would eat more than 50g of protein otherwise their muscles would deteriorate. yes i know not everyone is a pro athlete but at least 70g is recommended..

  • @kla031 Yep, I'm all too aware that the accepted "authorities" recommend too much protein. It's a myth that started with hype and propaganda in the 70's.

    I came to understand this from 2 years of eating the fruit-based diet 80/10/10 Author/athlete Dr Graham says it's great for athletes. I've been lifting weights and weighing myself to see that I'm not losing weight.

    I was amazed too. But then again, primates eat this way and do fine.

Eliminate simple sugars and processed foods, find some activity, and stick with your guns.   • @Staceyxxxify not true. excess calories make you gain weight. you either ate too much, excersized too little, or if you still gained weight it was probably water weight which can be delt with by drinking more water :). also, when you begin to diet, you have to stick with it for a few weeks to really see some results. I went from 220 pounds to 164 pounds (and I got my six pack back :)), I lost about 2 pounds/week at first, then it slowed down to 1 pound/week as I got closer to my target weight.

  • Hey girl, rather than putting each serving in a bag (that most people would throw away after), you could just measure it right before eating. Get a small measuring cup and eat right out of it. That way, you don't waste baggies. Same with making the serving portable, put it in a container and wash it later. Yea, yea, the lazy ones among us wont want to do that, but if we all do little things like this, we can cut down our consumption of plastics.

    You can also, reuse snack baggies several times with dry snacks; I do it all the time.

  • crap lol i guess im basicly starven myself.. i did this all wrong good vid and thanks lol. i ate ever 3 hours palm sized meals never ate a big meal. 60-100 cal usually per serv. my big problem "was" soda. it was a nightmare to stop thinking about soda. but now im drinking 7-8 bottles of water a day. i dont like candy/icecrea/cake/cuppcakes so thats easy for me. i lost 5 pounds so far :)

    The over eating of protein causes acidic waste products & uric acid to accumulate in the body along with stressing the adrenal glands & kidneys. Don't buy into the protein myth spewed by the meat industry. You can get all the protein you need from a plant based diet. Our body can't use animal protein without first breaking it down to amino acids which takes much energy. Huge muscles don't equal health. Many aging body builders have rheumatoid arthritis due to excess meat consumption.

    You also won't find many muscular lean guys ANYWHERE lol. And most guys eat an un-natural amount of protein.
