not only did they smash the quipment but people too.including a homeless elderly man dancing got thrown onto the floor face first and got knocked out for the next couple of minutes by 2 cops. The cops were also not wearing their badges so they could not be identified. They knew they were out for the kill. No group of ppl make me more sick in the stomach than the cops.
Absolutely ridiculous! The only thing i saw being thrown were people when the riot police stormed in! That was such a good night and such a buzz kill! Apparently the police smashed two turntables and tried to smash a mixing box...total overkill by the police and to shut parra road for over two hours and bring in a chopper. The next one needs to be a bit further from the city and a lot bigger. Keep the dance scene alive!!
yeh those poor defenseless riot police were clearly the victims here haha. lol can't believe channel 9 had that pic saying 'Rave' on it, this was completely unrelated and even to an extent a retaliation against the commercialised/ladtacular rave scene. easily the most bullshit of all the reports i've seen on it.
