I'd like to learn about this OS. I fail to see, by watching this video, or by anything else I've seen, the advantages to this over Linux. Everything looks pretty rudimentary.

Yes, not at the moment, probably not yet.
It depends on how you mean "better". Linux has more existing software, but Haiku might have a better design. Only time will tell.
I dunno about Wi-Fi. It tends to be one of those things that's a pain in the ass, I don't know if they're implemented it yet.

actualty x-windows is a good system even ran on systems with as little as 4mb ram .... problem is the current implementation is crap

They just applied some gradient theme patches ... already looks nicer
