Standard delivery for revealing a trick is to do the trick, let the audience awe, and then slowly show the method of the trick. The real valuable skill not sold is the skill of presentation. Anyone can lamely deliver a trick, but presenting a simple trick interestingly is a highly employable skill. Your presentation needs a bit more enthusiasm in delivery.

No offense, but the guy seems bored. The big rule of filming a scene is "If the people onscreen look bored, the audience will be bored even more so." I live near Colon Michigan (the claimed "Magic Capitol of the World") and have bought a few "How to Do This Magic Trick" videos. The performers are magicians who have practiced their delivery and moves to perfection. This fellow looks + sounds seriously bored. Great for Stephen Wright, not so great if it isn't a deliberate part of the act.
