FYI That dog is not playing! Head lowered and no tail wagging. Id nip that in the bud before you end up with a dead ferret. The ferret is not enjoying all that either.
The dog obviously loves his or her little playmate. Dont ever suspect the ferret to be afraid of the dog. Those in the weasel family are well known for their courage. About the only thing I have seen spook my four ferrets is a loud noise. Then they merely hide and poke their heads out to see what made the noise. Then they go after it.
Fascinating to see that herding instinct kick in. Many say the Border Collie is the smartest breed. I've read guides that say Border Collie will herd small children too.
This is adorable. Especially at the end when Lucy gets out but then wants back in and Lolas keeps looking at Lucy froom the corner of her eye. You have adorable ferrets and a very cute pup...and awesome taste in music. : )
