Back in the days c. 1994-95 when they allowed smoking in cafes and I was a programmer, the best code would come to me over lunch while this played in the background.
I have always considered this to be one of my all-time favorite Delerium songs, and the video is kinda cool, but I hate the radio'ed down cut of this song. I realize they need to cut a song down for radio play or even to make a video less tedious, but I flat-out prefer the album version.
Kristy's vocals are so distinct in this song. Very emotional.
gotta say this doesn't really look like Kristy Thirsk in this video. I know the hair is all freaked out and everything but just doesn't look like her in the face. Kristy much better looking than this . . .
The Original which was 8-9 minutes long (I think) appeared on Delerium's album "Semantic Spaces", it is a much more ambient remix though, but I reckon it's bloody brilliant.
This is the radio edit, Semantic Spaces has the original 6:21 version, which sounds identical, just a longer intro, repeated chorus and a longer bridge.
There are a 4 versions that are 4:42 and shorter.
3 versions of the 12" Extended mix, 7:31 and 8:54, and 9:01 2 with a longer intro. The longest is on vinyl.
though my first impression of this music itself (which means despite the video) is chasing something that tmpt me most in an urban content.
that thing however, is too beauty that even drive me to believe i myself is inferior, questioning that whether or not i should hide from it rather than chasing this unrealistic goal...
Isis. This artist is quite clever. For those who have eyes to see...

Kristy Thirsk needs to be involved with the new Delerium album, she's gorgeous and she has an awesome voice.

You're right, it's the same model from Flowers Become Screens. Kristy Thirsk wrote and performed the vocals.
