  • Jack Layton the only opposition leader that was still prepared to do a deal with the 'Harper Government' even AFTER they had been found to be 'IN CONTEMPT' of our parliament. Layton is just as contemptuous as Stephen Harper, as a matter of fact Layton is the reason Harper was even elected. What a GOOF.

  • I really want the conservatives out!!!!

  • @MrAlecaf And want who in? The ones who stole all the money in the 90's and slashed health care? The one who hugs trees? The one who wants to increase the role of government when countries that have done that like Portugal, Ireland and Greece are getting bailed out? Or the one who wants to break up the country?

  • @Cnd1867 Corruption needs to be removed from parliament. That means both Conservatives AND Liberals.

  • @Cnd1867 Sorry but your point of comparison is horrible. Why do you compare them to Ireland Greece and Portugal when you could be comparing them to Germany Sweden Finland Norway, countries with much larger governments than Canada who are doing alright. All i want is the hard liners on social issues out. The conservatives will turn Canada into America, they are buying form Lockheed after having a lobbyist working for the party and building more prisons. Harper does want to bring Sun TV to Canada.

  • where's the jobs conservatives?

  • @irbobo Where do you live? Unemployment has fallen from over 9% to 8%, almost 500,000 jobs have been created, including 90,000 FULL time jobs in the first few months of 2011.

  • @Cnd1867 Ok, but one cannot say we're at pre-recession unemployment levels yet, right? I'm not trying to insinuate you're claiming this, but Harper seems to claim that our nearl 8% unemployment is enviable, when other nations have ~4% unemployment. I can't believe the recession's over until we're back around 5% unemployment.

  • @Elecwaves when was the last time Canada's unemployment rate was 5%?
