  • I think the music works fine! Some say the orig music from the PS1 release is better but for reason, I think this music works, in a funky, quiky sort of way. IMO. I loved the music in P4! Sort of the same feel. I don't know! It just works for me where normally I would hate this kind of music for this type of game... but I really like it! Different feel. In a good way! Can't explain it . . . .I'm buying this tomorrow! :o)

  • @JamesQuallLovesPSP try hearing it over n over n over again,.

  • graphicwhores. if you don't like it, don't play it.

  • Haha, gotta agree, graphics dont make a game, the gameplay and story does.

  • o_o .....I kinda....expected....little bit more. I mean it looks like a cell phone game! I just got done with Dissidia and I seen the max of what the psp can do. This isn't even close to that! I mean they could atleast make it look like P3. I know that it could handle that! Though P3 it's self seemed alittle large for the psp and I'm not sure how they're planning on pulling it off... >_>;

  • Umm, a Cell phone game? Really? This game is better then Persona 3 and 4 anyways, better storyline, better battle system, better characters, ect. But thats just in my opinion.

  • Better story? Really? 3 had a pritty game good story. I'm not knocking the game I'm just alittle on the fence about the look of the battle graphics. They could have done it better is all.

  • Yea, im not bashing you or anything, but the video quality if pretty bad and it doesnt really look that great from there. Yea, 3 had a great storyline, but 1 and 2 are better in terms of dark (1 and 2 contains the main villian of the series, I shall not spoil it unless you really want me to).

  • Also, do you happen to be the infamous Flacco of gameFAQs? Cause he said something about it looking like a cellphone game.

  • Nope. I'm not. I just think it looks like a game I can play on a Iphone. And I never said I didn't like it. I'm still gonna get it ofcouse becouse I want to know the story but still.

  • then gtfo newfag

  • The game is a remake of the origional Revelations Persona that was on the Playstation. Due to the limited graphics engine, the game designers were forced to make the game used with such sprite-like animations, since there was a lot of content to put into the game, especially a persona game.

The game designers in this remake didn't want to get rid of anything, since fans of the original persona series would indeed get very upset. This is indeed to please the fans.

  • ......-Thinks- works for me. Least I get an extra party member.

  • plz stop sayin the grfx sucks , this game came out on the ps1 people ..get the hint

  • Yeah, and people saying the graphics suck probably love FF VII to pieces. :P

  • Trust me once you play it, you wont even care about the graphics

  • aw.. wtf., i dont lyk d graphics.. T_T

im a great fan of persona but wtf!!!

  • dude, it's the PSP

  • If you were a fan of Persona, graphics would be the least of your concern, unless you were brought to the series with 3 and 4. This game is nothing like those.

  • @ironwolfosiris my first intro to Persona just happened to be 3&4 and when I got this one and started playing it I fell in love with it! I get to see where such a great game series got its start, and it's awesome. The graphics don't bother me one little bit either.

  • lolz.

  • What the heck happened to the main char, his red hair became black on the pic and his battle sprite has dark purple hair...

  • Um.... YA DO KNOW that was His original Design. They made him Red haired and white in The original LOCALIZATION of the game.

Thank god this time around they won't mess with the character designs again.

  • The main character had blck hair in the JP version. In the US, they gave him red hair and whiter skin.

  • The first localization Americanized everything and made the whole thing not very good.

  • But the localization had a black guy and now they've taken him out because they're racist

  • its actually the oposite: mark was initially white in the original japanese port, and since atlus localized everything when it hit the states, they changed all character names, spells, and changed mark's color. atlus has decided to keep the game faithful to the jp version, so all names have changed, etc. its not that atlus was being racist or anything, its just that he was never black to begin with.

  • actually no, an American artist / guy put a black guy in (there was none int he japanese version back in the 90's) to make it more culturally rounded.

Also the main characters were re-done to look more white. (hair so on and skin tone) also the girl who was in the gangs (i forget her name) 's past was re-written because we didn't want children reading / seeing that and think it was cool.

Please do your research before calling something racist.

  • They're not that bad IMO.

But the english version get extras (first there huh?) but i doubt there will be improved graphics.

  • What the hell happened to MARK!?

  • lol its the original jap version. also notice the main character is not WHITE white w/red hair either?

  • Mark was Asian in the original Jap version.

  • Can't wait till the game comes out.

  • this game have a great music!i like it than the old one!:))

  • Its a re-release of a PS1 game, what were you expecting?

  • It an awsome game. There are 3D areas. you know. And some good cut scenes. Its a game from 1996. The game your talking about was from 1998 so things would have been a bit better quality.

  • I see a way to play the game with a proper localization (similar to the PS port of FFIV) The first localization of this game was horrible.

  • this game looks fun.....
