If you seek any antivirus, go for G-data :).. It has 2 engines ( Avast + BitDefender ) both exelent, basicly, it will own all on market, and internet security suite costs like 30$
Thank you for the insight, it's always great to accumulate information from expert sources.
I personally use Bitdefender security suite and I find it fantastic for my needs, however I agree with you that there is no "best" anti-virus or internet security suite, it all comes down to personal preference.
AVG and F-Secure Full Retail Versions are the best. I used F-Secure for 2 years and now I am using AVG for a year. I am clean from viruses though i download all kind of shit and play online games
I honestly do not know, I never tried to compare that and in some cases it's not possible to know the size of the database, since the companies sometimes don't give that information.
Besides, since anti-virus companies update their viruses all the time, it makes it even harder to say something accurate on the matter.
Many anti-virus just won't install if you already have one installed, and even if they do, there's a very big chance that 2 anti-virus running at same time will make them "conflict" with each other and that can lead the pc to crash or errors to occur.
Also, anti-virus use system resources. Some anti-virus are very heavy and use a lot of resources. Having two would be even worse.
Every operating system needs anti-virus software. The thing is, Macs "need it less". Macs have a shorter probability of getting viruses because there are a lot less viruses that target them. This might be explained by two things: shorter market share and being UNIX based.
The bottom line, you probably won't get viruses on a Mac (considering you use it right - see how to avoid viruses video), BUT it's always a good idea to have an anti-virus.
Nice Nice Video. I really loved your video. Youtube can be a great asset for you. That will probably cause more harm than good.
