Ahhhh...The New Age of Cartoons...Gotta Love them. I Freaking Love Jonah Hex...he is Awesome. To some people out there may not Like It, I love the gritty realism of this Cartoon. We all know that The old West was Rough, and I am glad to see that that was represented here. Long Live Jonah Hex.:o)

@06bigd2000 As cool as that would have been, I think Josh Brolin did fine as Jonah Hex. There were a lot of problems with the movie -- I wouldn't consider the lack of Thomas Jane in the top 10. Now, the bad script, the unnecessary historical references, the heavy metal soundtrack, the likewise unnecessary female sidekick, the casting of the female sidekick, the supernatural powers, the steampunk...

...yeeeah. Josh Brolin was trying to save a ship that had sunk before it sailed. Poor guy.

@RobinHood3000 I feel you. I like Josh Brolin. but I think even if they did do it right the part still wouldn't be for him. I think he is a good actor but there some parts even a good actor should do. But the main i agree with you about is the script. they wrote the movie terribly.

Yes and no lol. Jonah Hex has never been a regular cowboy theme comic.. instead its more "Strange Tales" of the west. So at times he finds himself dealing with ancient powers, steam punk villians etc etc. Its not treated as a common thing but weird crap happens to him especially with monsters, ghost, zombies etc etc

@gokugene Well, you can complain all you want, but Dan DiDio doesn't give a shit. It's a sad state of affairs when the guy in charge won't accept that Bruce Timm knows what he's doing. He had a whole line of animated films planned based around the characters who don't get enough recognition in film or TV, if any at all.

@marsman227 The only damn movies that need making for Supes & Bats at this point are 'Hush' & 'Death of Superman'. And I mean the PROPER Death of Superman storyline, not the 'reimagining' Superman: Doomsday had. The lack of the 4 Supermen in Doomsday was criminal.

But these shorts are a good idea. I'd love Booster Gold or Dr Fate or Steel to get one.
