I was part of a family with a mother with 3 kids and 1 had CH. He also had it and we went to Boston Children's Hospital to a Dr. Mulliken. First, we tried Bleomycin, a cancer drug treatment with 4 injections to the neck and 3 more to his tongue. Didn't work.
He later had a tongue reduction surgery. Tried to get him into Ham Radio so he could talk to people via radio using morse code. Maybe a good hobby? Was for me. Mitch
you are SO brave Homey!!! my baby boy has cystic hygroma, it almost took him away from us but he survived, his grew as big as yours and some ppl used to look at him so awfully when we took him out but we learnt to live with it as you have too. ppl who have small minds only take the piss because anything different frightens them! put ur middle finger up boy and enjoy life xxx
Your such a great kid, and you'll be all the more stronger for it! I'm 23 and have had t lymphangioma in my left cheek all my life, although I have had surgery and pdt it hasn't stopped me doing anything...and any problems you face will make a strong person in the long run
hey - i had the same but got it removed at 3 months old. you sound kind of apologetic - you should not be.!! it does not make you ugly, you're a good looking lad. yes there are always people that will take the mick but they are just trash and if it wasn't a cystic hygroma they would find something else to take the mick out of. all the best mate!!

God Bless you! My son has a cystic hygroma. He is 23 now. He's having schlerotherapy treatments to shrink it. He's had a few surgeries at Stanford University. Wish I new about the schlerotharpy treatment before he had the surgery. Take care..
