We are roughly halfway through our deployment according to rumor. We are on open orders, so there is no telling for certain when he will be home. I miss my sailor. He is in the sandbox at the moment. :( I miss him so much! I can't wait for him to be home!

I really love this video. My husband left last week for his second tour to Iraq and i still cant except that his not here. Its hard staying home, cause everywhere i look or turn reminds me of my husband. But i try real hard to be strong for my daughters. We live in Fort Irwin, and like you megami, I have no friends. Though I do have my children. It is hard. We have so much to be thankful for. We have been stationed in Norfolk for a year, and he is on a carrier. He is gone more than he is home, and I still haven't made any friends. I feel so alone when he is gone, and have nothing to do to pass the time other than take care of our 18 month old daughter. It's nice to know I'm not the only one. We have to support each other and stay strong!

All my life I said I'd never marry a soldier because I have 4 military brothers, and my father served in 2 branches. Then I fell in love. I am so proud of my husband, and I'm facing all those things that I was scared of. I stay strong for him, and for our unborn child. Thank You! I am so proud of my husband, but its so hard with our sons. The oldest is afraid I am going to leave him too, and I'm afraid the baby will be scared of his daddy. I love the video & all others supporting military wives but what about the military husbands? I know it's just as hard on my husband when i get deployed somewhere as it is on the wives when the men get deployed. Military husbands get less support & thanks than the wives do. so I thank all the military husbands out there for supporting your wives. I don't know what I would do if my husband didn't support me in my carreer. I love him some much.

Thank you. It is hard being a military wife. But I want to say that it is also very hard being in love with a military man. I was the girlfriend of a military man before I was lucky enough to be his wife. I am not a military wife but I am an active duty member of the U.S. military and so is my boyfriend and I know how hard it is to be stationed away from the one you laugh. I hope all of your loved ones make it home safely. This was a really nice video.

I too am a military wife. My husband is in Iraq, this is my second deployment. He got to see our daughter when she was born and left 2 weeks after that. Thank you for posting this video. Can't wait to see him again.

I'm not married, or dating someonone from the USA military, but I all of you out there who have someone fighting in the war, I want to let you know I appreciate what they are doing! I'm praying for them! I'm having a moment of silence tomorrow at 8:46am, on Sept. 11th. I will be praying for those who lost their lives that terrible day, and for the soldiers fighting the War On Terrorism!

Well its 1230 I am wide awake and dreading going to bed, The king sized bed gets a little lonley! I may not be a marine wife, but I am an Army wife, and by God we are all in this together....4 months down....11 to go. Our 4 month old son will be walking when daddy comes home. Daddy left when our first baby boy was 6 days old.....Wonderful slideshow

hi my baby 5 months he didnt get to see her when she was born but he did get to come home like 5 days after she was for 2 weeks but he been gone for 8 month and just 7 more to gobut heres a little advice to the bed thing sleep couch or a small bed it will help lol but yea this is my first deployment and kid so thanks for going thour this too.

I love the video & all others supporting military wives but what about the military husbands? I know it's just as hard on my husband when i get deployed somewhere as it is on the wives when the men get deployed. Military husbands get less support & thanks than the wives do. so I thank all the military husbands out there for supporting your wives. I don't know what I would do if my husband didn't support me in my carreer. I love him some much.

ok, now you've done it, i'm crying. i've been the Marine deploying, i've been the wife of a deployed Marine. that's the harder job, as far as i'm concerned. loved it, especially the part about the pregnant wife, i was 8 mos pregnant and had a child in intensive care when my husband was deployed. that which does not kill us, only makes us stronger! semper fi from mommeemarine usmc 86-93

Thank you. It is hard being a military wife. But I want to say that it is also very hard being in love with a military man. I was the girlfriend of a military man before I was lucky enough to be his wife. With my husband leaving soon to once again serve this great country I will be there for the military wives, fiancees and girlfriends. Be there for our single soldiers as well.

I am not a military wife but I am an active duty member of the U.S. military and so is my boyfriend and I know how hard it is to be stationed away from the one you laugh. I hope all of your loved ones make it home safely. This was a really nice video.
