I may be mistaken because, as a foreigner, I don't watch a lot of american tv but there is something that I regret. Whoever says something not-stupid on USA television is immediately hailed as a great intellectual. Mr. Maher and M. Moore seem rather arrogant and puberal figures who like to simplify and provoke. Bill Maher amazes me. Sometimes I think "what the fuck is this guy saying?!" and sometimes I think "hell yeah!, this guy is right." But, hey, that's freedom of speech, Bill can say whatever the fuck he wants, it'll be funny sometimes, sometimes it'll be offending, but he has the right to do it. Natural selection and evolution are actually logical laws by which simple organisms can become complex beings. It's hardly random once you see beyond your own sense of self.

i prefer to say principle rather than theory or law because evolution is something that is just there. are you exactly the same as your parents? if the answer is no, then your very existence is a proof and an example of evolution.
