hey guys whats up just i wanna ask a question and plz i want an answer asap ok i have a problem with sony vegas every time i record a video with hdpvr and i wanna combine it with my commentry using sony vegas when i put the video on sony vegas it says that there was a problem and it quit by itself but when i put any other video it work and nothing happened how can i make my hdpvr video work on sony vegas plzzzzzzz answer
how bout you make a video of how you can talk to your friends on xboxlive if you dont have a microw phone i dont have 1 yet but i still need to talk to them
@DeBomb321 i've tried free stuff and nothing is that great .I currently use Magix Movie Editor Pro (version 15). It was like $50 or so at Best Buy. I'm looking for something else casually cause the render times are extremely long (especially with HD video).
@XThunderStrokerX hmmm, it could be the mics volume being too high, as it is trying to catch background noise as well. Could be something with the program that you are rendering with. I know some programs (like Magix) has audio cleaners that can gt rid of white noise (that's what I use to reduce it).
@XThunderStrokerX hmm maybe. It could also be that since the mic is passive, it might not be able to record at louder volumes. I found this to be true as I had used previously a headset my, but now I use a more traditional mic.
I find Fraps is way better for PC Game Videos, I think Dazzles are a little more "complicated" or harder to use, I bought a Dazzle and could figure it out, but I never do any Xbox Videos or anything, but I think to have something easier to setup go up against something more difficult to use, easier usually wins ^^
@TheCallOfHaloGamer1 word, i agree. I have moved on to using the HDPVR instead of the dazzle. It's what I have in my 'How to HD' video. For screen capture, I have used playclay for minecraft and other stuff.
@jrb542 too technical and expensive. I may fraps a few pc games and add audio overlay, but importing recording from console...bollocks no way could afford nor want to have excess gear.
I used your ideas along with some of Titanium Gamers and got my studio for Gameplay vid with commentary all set up and running like a dream. Thanks a shitload. I'll drop by and give you a link to one of my gameplay vids once i have em up.
The stanton's alright, some tweaking ability but not too much! Yeah, the dazzle capture part works well, just my laptop is not fast enough to get a high data rate without fragmenting or glitching! I have a toshiba 250gb external using USB! I tried recording to it directly, but it messed up the videos since it had to pass through my laptop to the external! firewire or eSATA would be balling (faster transfer)
I personally don't like the way my vid came out, but I'm really picky i guess...
Very nice dude... EyeTV is what i use ( did use the dazzle on my tomba set) Prefer the EyeTV. Stanton looks pretty badass looking. Balance is always a issue with my mic. Some games are WAY loud. Agreed with you on the Pinn Studio Software not my favorite. I been looking at the HD capture device also. Not sure how that would work in order to record. BTW what type of External HD do you have. Is USB 2.0, FireWire 400 and/or eSATA?

Ok i got it.
Wheni enable my mic though and start talking there is some white noise in the background.
How can i fix that ?
