  • For this guy on the trapeze, it was first sailing in dinghy ever! After 2 more times at the sea, he become the pro :)

Few weeks later we were sailing downwind at speeds 15-17 knots :)

I will make new video with him in the spring!

  • great video to show a new crew what its like to go out on the trap.

  • ur nawt wearing a pfd!!!! i awlways have to wear a pfd and its soooo annoyning!!!

  • @AllthatGlittrz13 Almost guarenteed it's under the spray top.

  • Incredible feeling! Such an adrenaline rush!!

  • I am on the helm :)

  • good stuff for first time out! in the future you will want your front foot parallel with the gunnel, rear foot right up against it, perpendicular with the gunnel, to make a T shape kind of... then legs straight and try to stay parallel with the water good luck!

  • so are you meant to keep your front leg straight?

  • icrewforyou2: NO... its called balence and manoverability not put your legs together,

  • Great video! Thanks a lot! Cant wait to get my 505 :)

  • dude, get your legs together... you're a starfish! i did the trap for the first time today, prety good stuff.

  • Obviously you don't know what you are talking about, you keep your legs apart so you can move in or out of the boat, once you feel the wind changing you gotta get back into the boat fast or you end up in the water.

  • @varickwt You should know what your talking about before you talk. Your saying the novice/slow way to trap. The best/ most efficient way to trap is how koloffmy says. A t stance, with both your front and back legs straight, and have your entire body straight like a popsickle stick. That focuses your weight farther away from the boat, while the t stance keeps you stable so you dont fall over (when your legs are straight, you loose some balance, but the t stance counters this)

  • The cam is Digital Hero 3 (100$), and is mounted to the mast under the boom with elastic ropes and spunge under the camera.

  • Cool session Stibra! :) How did you fix your cam and which cam have you used? Have a nice season ...
