I get so sick of hearing the same thing from the blacks...
'It's the politicians' fault we cant act right! It's the polices' fault we stomp kids to death in the street! It's white peoples' fault that we turn our own cities into warzones!!'
Your communities will never change until black people start to take responsibility for their problems and stop blaming their faults on everyone else.
I'm sure if you feel that way or actually believe that, you haven't read the comments on this page or watched this video. No one is blaming politicians and the police. In select areas, there is a racial struggle between those in power and people of color, no matter how much you hate hearing it, there are facts that can't be refuted. The Jenna 6 fiasco was just a spec of the reality many minorities face. At the root, segregation is 2 be blamed for it all & despite what you believe, it's not over.
The way I see it is summed up perfectly in a speech by a cartoon MLK Jr on The Boondocks. It's here on youtube. Search for 'boondocks martin luther king speech' and listen to it.
Every black person should hear that speech. So true, and even written by a black man. Maybe there is hope after all.
Pretending there is no problem doesn't solve anything. "Shutting Up" about it, doesn't solve a thing. I believe that there are far too many people milking the race card for more than its worth, but then there are times when you must question people in power. The fact that there were 2 police on patrol of that area and neither came to the scene or the fact that, in the Jenna. LA area there are tons of complaints against racist cops but the state does nothing about it. U enjoy living in ignorance.
It has to start at home. Problem is for a lot of these kids they have no one at home.
Its not the video games, its not the music or the movies its the parents not being there and doing their job as parents. Im sure everyone in that street don't know or have a father and if they do he was probably doing the same thing a few years back. To many parents expect the system to raise their kids. its just a cycle and its going to keep happening. until people make a change in raising kids.
I agree with that... mostly, I do, but I think the system we have created for ourselves is Jim Crow-esque and too many ignorant minds fuel the fire. I believe there is racist police and they and that will never change, but when are we going 2 stop blaming the police and the law because we got caught with the needles in our arms? When are we going 2 stop blaming the system, when we moving shit across borders. A lot of shit is brought on by "we", &until we stop blaming others, nothing will change.
Yes, I agree with alot a things you said. And violence is very entertaining to ignorant people and the media does encourage it. The more drama, the more ratings. You are correct.
Why was it flagged?! It's not like you were bigging up the fighting, you were discussing it. I think people should be able to watch the video, to be truely disgusted by our own race of humans. Humiliated by how some people are presenting themselves.
It's sick that anyone could do that. Having nothing doesn't warrant killing anyone, it's a shame that there are some kids are out there without help or guidance to lead them in the right direction. Really sad.
YEah it sucks big time. I thought it was a great illustration of how and why we need to stop with this senseless violence and hatred on all ends of the spectrum.
