Sounds a bit like Oldskool Darkside........something not quite right about it tho........bit to polished. Almost like a reggae track immitating oldskool. Still a blinding choon tho. Would have dropped sweetly in the old daze.
This was out on acetate(maybe) ; in the early 90's, and the samples come from the excorsist 2 where they fly on the wings of the locusts in Africa. You total winner for putting this on youtube. Thanks. and Thanks again !
err....if only I'd checked before and not taken it for granted. The alleged individual claiming to have made this tune has got his age as '19' on his profile, which means he would have been about 2 yrs old when he 'created' this track. Okkkk. Always gonna be a problem when delusional knuckleheads pop up and claim they 'made' this and that. Shame.
The world is a strange place indeed. Why would you bother? So anyway...the mystery continues on who did this and what it's called/or isn't...
This is an early nineties tune which was released in very limited numbers on white label. Unfortunately, when Great Asset distribution went under, a lot of copies were left gathering dust in storage until quite recently, when their stock was broken up. I do have a copy and that's how I got mine.
Just been sent the link for this ive still got it on white label and for some reoson wrote "Cyberfunk" on it ? remember the B-side only being slightly different to the A-Side
thanx...it's fastly becoming one of my fav tracks ever! It has such a unique, almost surreal, dreamy vibe - can't begin to describe it really; it's just "out there" and the sample is from the Exorcist II! Can it get any better? Outrageously brilliant Hardcore - one of my all time favourites, kudos to Mr.Snus for producing this bass-heavy bomb of a tune. I love it... :D
jeez...I've a copy of this track back in the UK still; such an eerie opening wit a "Vampire" esque sample -have no idea what from maybe "DJ Snus" can shed some light? Can't find this on Discogs at present...must confess not exactly trying too hard, but still.....those bleepy segments are so wonderfully trippy and ravey without somehow being overtly cheesy..."share my wings! " Fuck yesss......unreal choon; where did the yrs go eh? Monster rush right now..
and I'd like to know if there was a label name for this track....no info regarding "DJ Snus - Tick Tock" on Discogs at present, unless someone's updated it as I'm typing right this min...
Cheers for the info - always good to find out about these old whites :)
Did u ever make anymore stuff which came out or was unreleased? Old skool is still pretty popular & there's been all sorts of unreleased bits coming out recently (Tango / Release / After Dark / Invisible Man).
Would be interested to hear anything else you've done - you probably don't realise, but this white label is really popular with the old skool heads - just look how many views it's had already in just a few months compared with some of the other stuff I've put on here. If you've done anything else in the same sort of style, I know a fair few people that would wanna hear it :)
Hmmm.. I have heard this one before, but still doesn't ring the bell.. I should remember, it's such a good tune! Other tracks from this 12" available?? Please??!! :)
-thats the link for RR01 (redrum records), except this track isnt on it

@cloudgroover
It came out in 1992, so it is oldskool. I did eq & beef it up prior to uploading though.

It has nothing to do with Rabbit City.
