during the whole zack thing cloud had mako poisining(from my understaning anyway)which basically made him imprint on what was happening around him so in turn he thought he was soldier first class, thought he was born in nibelheim thought tifa was his child hood friend (which meant tifa played along most likely because she felt sorry for cloud) and to add to this he had the buster sword that zack gave him to add to his confusion and the expirence was so sad he probably blocked it out , thumbs up!
