Wow your brought back a lot of memories for me.. Too many memories that I was once in a few months ago. You broke everything down by detail and I loved that. I regret not sharing as much in detail w/ my plastic surgery part so im happy that your informing others how it really is. BTW, depression is very common. I also experienced the same exact thing the 2nd week too.
@skymoon1982 I knew you would be able to relate with my story. I totally understand why u didn't detail your surgery so much. U had the complication which took over everything. Girl that was dramatic!! U came through and I can only imagine now how u must have felt. Depression is an understatement compared to what u had to deal with. I'm glad I pulled out of it and I look forward to the future :)
I had a catheter for a little while but it came out the day after surgery -- of course, I didn't have my arms done so I TOTALLY agree with your decision to keep it in! OMG, I can't even imagine trying to get into the bathroom in an airplane as a new brachioplasty postop! I'm sure you looked like a real patient all wrapped up. Poor thing ... that's a lot to go through! Glad you're on the other side of all of it now. Kitiria is a sweetie for helping you so much.
As for the buyer's remorse, I think it's totally normal, too, because we go through so much pain during the process. I'm glad NOW that it's over, but that first 3 weeks was ROUGH, and I couldn't honestly say I was happy until I was past all of that part.
@LiLtinee Thank u so much Dena! U truly understand!! Getting over those first couple of weeks was rough and I was wishing I could turn back time. I'm sure I'll get over that feeling 100% soon. I'm already feeling a bit better and in a few more weeks I'm sure it'll be all behind me!! YAY!!
