@SpongeBen30 Hello there! Look, I've changed almost everything in this guitar. I needed to refret the neck, I changed all the pickups, replaced the tuners for Sperzel and the bridge too. So, I spent a little bit to make this guitar sound better. My opinion is, take a look in this one and the Fender as well. Feel both of them and judge for yourself. I have a Gibson Les Paul Standard... Thats EXSPENSIVE! Here in Norway it costs around $ 4500 at the local dealer =P I really want a cheap ESP stratocaster lookish style.. Would you recommend ESP over Fender? =)
@doomcrewsatan666 I would prefer a Fender instead of an ESP. But if you have a great deal in your country to buy an ESP I can say it's a great guitar too. But I used in this video an LTD with lots of modifications. So, do your research and try both...Cheers!
@doomcrewsatan666 I would like to add if I could- The squier affinity strat by fender is a great guitar for the $ buy them in USA all day for $149 . I have played and owned about every guitar/amps made to make comparisons, only major difference between squier strat and a USA strat is squier has a thinner body . your amp is utmost important. I play VOX DA10 amp- yes 10 watts and 2 small 6.5 inch speakers awesome clean or distortion & effects.and programable. trust me best $200 investment !
@U2wild I also have an Affinity, the trick is to test all the individuals the store has in stock and find the one with good wood. Mine is getting all new electronics with just a single pickup, Dimarzio Tone Zone. I agree, these can be fantastic guitars especially for the money.
@maikaitan It can be! LOL. I think that signatures guitars are so expensive these days that when you buy something below U$ 500.00 you think as a cheap guitar, but I agree with you, only a few guitars have low prices today. @TommyLeeJack91 pickups make a tiny difference compared to the sound of the guitar itself and the amp, you can get great sound from a nice amp and shite guitar, but you can't get a great sound from a great guitar and a shite amp
@BradleyJohnHunt True, but hook a cheap guitar with a decent body and neck wood up with good pickups and plug it into a good amp and those pickups will sing haha. For example a esp ltd st203fr with dimarzios or duncans, plugged into a mesa or a marshall stack would sound pretty damn killer haha. But I totally agree with the fact that a good guitar in a crappy amp sounds way worst than a crap guitar in a good amp :P
