Before I followed what you have said, it used to come up with the darwin booter and it let me go onto osx but came up with the error message in windows. Now that i have done what you said, the darwin loader doesn't come up, it just comes up with the windows error message :( any ideas???

Thanks, you saved many hours of work... diskpart works perfectly on win 7 64bit. one advice if you have more than one harddisk and cannot find your windows partition: Go into diskpart, select disk 0 and then enter detail disk. thanks again

All this did was make it so the original bootloader showed up

or you can just use vista disc and press repair option on the disc from boot and repair boot loader

That is a problem with all Hackintosh Laptops, no WiFi and No sound and other stuff.

No it's not. Out of the box, yes, but if you actually take the time to make it work, you will find the drivers for it. Go to insanelyMac and do a search. Mine is flawless. The only thing I cannot do is upgrade through the updater, since it breaks my graphics because of my GC driver (GMA950-a).

They say it matters but I used a DVD+R so I think that it doesn't matter. try burning at 2x if possible less speed.

bootrec /rebuildbcd isn't recognised. I installed using kalyway 10.5.2. What is bootrec? Where is it located? Vista's command prompt doesn't recognise any command or directory called bootrec.

bootrec is a boot recovery system. if it is not working then you need to have a look at the partition listing because you can't just copy what Orteginho is doing, each system is different. do you have a recovery partition?

you need to go to terminal and type in the commands if mac is already installed just go to terminal in the install screen and type those comands to mark it active. check my first video of the install of iatkos v1.0i I think it's on the description.

another question, i have a pavilion with a 630m chipset and 7150m, i download and try with iatkos, zep, leo4all and the hard disk no appear in the list. You know a kext or solution for that?

you have to make sure you use the disk utility to format the disk/partition to os x (journaled), then it'll show up.

nice one, when i installed iATKOS v2.0i i couldnt dual boot (ofcourse i didnt think of marking it as active).

but wen i instal iATKOS v1.0i it dual boots automatically so i must have forgot about it. anyway... i will try doing it, and i might make a video :)
