  • @MrMoodang, if I stole from Chuck Norris would hunt me down and (sound of Kurt dropping to the floor)...

  • TRADING PANACEA.

I HAVE THE HOLY GRAIL OF DAY TRADING.

So basic and simple, but tough.

    1) A good entry (of which you already know to employ.)

    2) A pre-planned exit. (of which you have already built the emotions and discipline for: A profit target, trailing stop, or stop loss.)

    3) To be aware that its just all you, predicting something that one DOES NOT REALLY KNOW FOR SURE HOW THE MARKETS WILL PERFORM FROM ONE MINUTE TO THE NEXT -- only that you DO THESE THINGS.

    Eddy.

  • If this is the holy grail why are you selling it? :)

  • Ha! Fair question. I'm selling the result of my time, sweat, and capital. I think anyone that watches this to the end will agree that money management is the key to trading, NOT timing or fundamental analysis.

Thanks for your tongue-in-cheek comment. Please check out the rest of the vids! And come to one of my free webinars held every Tuesday and Thursday during market hours. SOmetimes I place live trades within the webinar itself; not as a recommendation but as a demonstration of limiting risk

  • The key to good trading is risk control and good money management. With an appropriately small risk and a good RRR, you can make a lot of money without a lot of stress.

  • Great idea! I am going to try the same thing: ie I am going to start posting my entries and exits in real time. I am even going to think about posting when I move my stops.

  • Actually, Darvas didn't use "Limit orders" for his entries. He actually bought break outs of the box, so actaully, he used buy stops to enter the market. Limit orders are for entry at below the market price. Since Darvas was looking at breakouts, he placed entry orders (stop orders) at above the box price.
