Honestly, when it comes to coaches, Michigan beats OSU hands down. UM has had some greats prowling those sidelines, and its hard to argue against names like Yost, Crisler, Oosterbaan, and Shcmebechler. OSU's best two coaches the last 50 years have left the program in disgrace (Woody & Tressel). And Bruce and Cooper were ousted pretty uncerimonially. I could understand Cooper, but earl Bruce didn't deserve to go how and when he did. Anyway..GO BLUE.

What sucks, from the rivalry standpoint is just as it seemed Michigan had gotten their house in order with Hoke and his great staff, OSU shits the bed so to speak with Tatgate and the whole Tressel thing. Hopefully it doesn't hurt the rivalry too much, but in the short term (the next 4-5 years) I think OSU will be down (save for maybe the 2011 season). Hopefully after they've gotten through the coming sanctions they'll be able to get things in order.

The top Big Ten teams are no softies...the "problem" in the Big Ten is that nobody is clearly dominant to the point of winning all their conference games.
