@CharIiePresents "Retard" means to reduce the throttle to idle...and pilots still have to maintain the correct airspeed and flap level i believe so :]

Wauw! Her i Juli måned på vej hjem fra Mallorca, fik jeg også lov til at komme ind i cockpittet. Jeg fik mig en snak med Copiloten, og spurgte så om jeg måtte komme ind i cokpittet. Han spurgte så captainen, og så fik ejg lov at sidde i Copilotens sæde. Her fik jeg så taget et par billede, så jeg blev rigtig glad! :D

I can't imagine me inside an airplane (going to holidays, for example) and ask to the cabin crew if i can go inside the cockpit to sitdown on the jumpseat and record the flight with my videocamera... :S It would be great, but i can't believe that could be true xD

@pixabrava89 Yes it is possible, I've just been in the cockpit yesterday on Air Baltic 737-500. I just asked the FA, and then spoke to the captain and he said yes. I've been sitting there from pushback and engine start, and was the last person to leave the plane as well! So yes mate, you try too! just grow some balls to actually ask :p

Very nice! You're fortunate to have sat up front for that experience. In the U.S., even Flight Attendant's had that privilege taken away shortly after 9/11. I was able to enjoy it twice and it was amazing!
