  • There are no Chreography....No Transition...

  • I lov mao's bells the music she skates to is soo different from other skaters and soo much harder to interpret on the ice, and she still does an incredible job each time... this performance is so intense it's like you can feels the fire from this performance.. it's really incredible to think that the one who skatet to libestraum is the same mao is the one who skatet to bells...

can't wait to see what she will show us in the next season..

  • The real #1. A shame she had to come in at a time when Yuna was being annointed the new messiah.

  • it's really heartwarming to see all of the korean fans there to support her, makes you forget the few idiots on youtube

  • This program has great physical strength.

    Required daily training.

    Mao is a great passion!

  • This is a lovely, Romantic routine. It's a shame so many people don't get that the Goth attitude is part of the performance, not her whole personality.

  • @erikacornia I absolutely agree with you. Mao's music is a lot harder to skate to . In my opion , she expresses deeper than anybody else , the strehgth(inner strength ucluded) is simply incredible , and she has the best skating skill in the world. Some may argue with that . I do figure skating so I can tell that the axel is the hardest jump in this sport . The whole package? I think Mao already has it , and she's been doing

    better year after year.

  • She's so graceful. Her lines are really smooth and all the jumps are clean with soft landings. Shes the only female skater that can land a 3.5 revolution perfectly. Welcome to Vancouver, Mao-chan! I hope you have a great experience here.

  • mao asada is graceful and she is a great skater/

But Yuna is the best.. she rarely makes mistakes. I like them both tbh and I would be happy if either one gets the gold medal @ the winter olympics.

  • @wht1t3cr4y0n you are grossly incompetent. Go and find someone else to bash on.

  • yea yea yuna is yuna..

    but mao is mao.

    2different amazing and incrediable skaters.

  • @harperiscrazy that may be true, but Asada's jump are cleaner and more pronounced. She has fast speed too as well.

  • @harperiscrazy you are an inexperienced critic. Every skaters use their arms now and then. It helps them to be expressive and also to retain their grace and balance.

  • i still can not believe this insane footwork got a level 2??? does anyone know why?

  • shit seriously? how the hell did she get a 2!!! she deserves the bestest coz that was one hard footwork sequence!

  • Mao has very big capacity. Her natural style is the light skating. She got another style from Tarasova. We can see different performance from Mao each time. We are happy.

  • It is unbelievable her skating ability. Nobody can deny her high skating skills and her very artistic elagant expressions. She always challenge, she could get two triple axel in the same program and include one triple axel in short program getting such beautiful artistic step sequence. Nobody did that in the figure skating history, and the time WILL show how strange judge system set in these years. GO MAO!!!

  • @ProudKoreanGuy It was held in korea, you can't be suret that all the yelings and barkings were made only by you called " monkeys"..lol

  • Mao is such a sweet and tenderhearted girl. This music doesn't bring out her best quality. But she did an excellent job. She is definitely one of the top skaters in the world. I'm a Korean and whoever wins in the Olympics, as long as both Mao and Kim can give their best performance, I'll be happy. Go Mao!!!

  • A very nice performance though I also feel that this music is just a little too overpowering. One of her best qualities is the lightness of her jumps, yet this music makes that difficult to notice.

All the same I wish her well in Vancouver and so glad she recovered from her Grand Prix season.

  • @socalsamurai AMMM, if we take ur opinion as valid, then the ballet cast of swan lake would be like the most unartistic thing ever, Yuna and her coach have a kind of hip personality and it translates great on the ice, but that's not the only kind of "artistic expression". I know Mao seems really level, but that's what I love about her, when she's on her performances come across as a classic piece of art, OMG! 2009 gpf sp just came to my mind, that was a piece of art head to toe! Go Mao :P

  • Sorry, I meant 2008 gpf sp :P It's so clear of my mind, that I confused the date. :D

  • MAO FANS don't get upset with all of these comments, remenber is olympic season and people get really bitchy. I'll still cheer up for Mao, cuz she's amazing and I believe in her, Mao for GOLD!

  • I know that this particular performance, yeah, it does look force, and it doesn't have the usual flow that she has, but if that triple flip-2loop-2loop did not looked clean and effortless to you, then what does? I mean then you might find almost every skater in the world incredibly awful to watch, Mao is one the few that can jump that high without attacking the ice.

  • 最後に両手を空を突き上げる瞬間は何度見てもしびれる

    是非、バンクーバーで最高の鐘を鳴らして

    金メダルを!

  • Yes,! Mao is the best!! Perpect 2 3a!

  • Brilliant!! Her performance is so intense! The footwork sequence at the end made me want to cheer! Especially that twizzle i the half-sit position that she does. Great music and routine.

  • I don't think her amazing 3A should be downgraded for a 10 degrees arguable lack from the total 1260 degrees of rotation. How they be considered double (900 degrees)??? This new way of judging is so wrong, promoting safe, boring programs.
