im a graffiti artist. im not a big fan of banksy, he is interesting but he calls himself a graffiti artist. he isnt, he belongs in gallerys and he should leave the wall unless there legal walls. i cannot see a stenciled piece or art graffiti. i take time in doing a wild style, it takes hours to finish, he sprays over his stencil a few times n he is off. keep it up, but you are not graffiti artist. peace.

I think Banksy would find many of the "angry comments", about the critics in this video, amusing, because Youtube fosters the very same anonymity, on which he relies as an artist, for the people who use it and comment on videos. It gives people the license to be rude, passionate, cruel, and many other things. And that's probably why people find it so easy to slate the critics in this video. (Because we can judge and characterise them, and remain uncharacterised ourselves, (to a certain extent.))

They are paying attention not because they put him the spotlight of attention but because the public have paid attention and connected with Banksy's work. I think you catagorize people too much, it dosnt really matter what field of work someone is in, you seem to think for example if a person is rich and their in the field of buying and selling art, then that person couldnt possibly understand a Banksy piece. Yes Banksy is street art, but that dosnt mean its ONLY for the street and cant be appreciated hung above a rich mans fire place. Banksys demographic is people that like art, I can imagine Prince Will owning a Banksy, and hes not street

Yeah, but not through graf. She was suggesting that Warhol had done this one second flick of an image and you get the message. Through Pop Art he would succeed what advertising companies were doing but he was doing it in the Art World...

im a graffiti artist. im not a big fan of banksy, he is interesting but he calls himself a graffiti artist. he isnt, he belongs in gallerys and he should leave the wall unless there legal walls. i cannot see a stenciled piece or art graffiti. i take time in doing a wild style, it takes hours to finish, he sprays over his stencil a few times n he is off. keep it up, but you are not graffiti artist. peace.

what banksy does is not crime, its art. theres no getting away from it, if a picture tells a thousand words then banksy's tells even more. i really get what he's trying to put across to us, its art that speaks. sometimes with his work you have to think a bit before you understand but 99 percent of them carry a clear message.
