@wardogmobius Someone had a very sore foot, so we got taxis in Tokyo mainly. We also used the local trains around the city. We did a day return trip to Kyoto by shinkansen 700. Very comfortable train. Kyoto was amazing with it's history. We also spent one night at the Fujyia Hotel near Hakone ( we went on the romancecar train). Fog came so we didn't see Mt Fiji. I don't know Japanese apart from greetings. I really love Japan and really respect the people and their culture.
