Bam Bam is ADORABLE. he kind of reminds me of my female pit. my girl was extremely hyper too. she calmed down alot. i controlled her very well tho. when i'd take her out ppl would always tell me she's so calm and i'd laugh. if only they knew. taking her for walks and treadmill training her played a big role in keeping her calm. i also trained her from the start so i never had any of these problems. she was nippy when she was a pup but i got her out that habbit real quick. she's a great dog
@aidenmccloskey Making the dog scared to death and tire out is not getting a dog to calm down, in fact I find it a form of abuse. He pretty much scares the dog to get it to listen to him, or tried it. That can be VERY dangerous for people who will see it and try it for for the owners of that said dog.
Not only is that cropping is abusive and gross, but it seems like he never taught the dog "no" when he nipped or jumped when he was a puppy, because he is very nippy for a dog and seems like he was never taught right from wrong. THIS is what gives Pitties bad names. A bad owner like him who never taught their puppies, and then one day he bites the child and it turns into "it came from no where" and the breed is blamed.
Pro tip: If there is a second set of subtitles please move one to the top. Since the show had its Spanish at the bottom and you can't change that move your Serbian titles to the top of the screen until the Spanish goes away. That way everyone who does speak English can read it.
I can't change it, it was shown this way on television. In my country foreign programs are subtitled. So, subtitle is the part of the video, can't move it, can't hide it.
I too rarely take my dog for a walk, not because I don't want to, but because I can't. Do you think putting her on the treadmill is a good enough alternative? :)
@LisRYUUZAKI the treadmill is perfect cesar showed us his dogs walking on a treadmill at his home and in other episodes he shows owners its a good way for them to direct all their energy and they will become tired and then end up being calm at home =)
These behaviors are so predictable and preventable. If you want to prevent your new puppy from turning into this type of a dog go to dog star daily and look at the the two books under the free downloads section.
PLEASE DON'T READ THIS you will die in seven days if you don't post this comment on 10 videos in the next hour. if you do, tommorrow will be the best day of your life
have to be the alpha with theese dogs.my amo was like that cause my wife held him in a blanket like a baby when he was a pup and it tookj awhile for him to listen to her because he thought he belonged to her.i would come back from work and he would always wanna be between us.
@UnknownGenius01 pitbulls arent aggressive and i mean hes the dog whisper he could take on any dog and hes not scared of them because most of is dogs in his pack are pitbulls
@Iamunnamed100- she's very much calm now.. she doesn't run out when our house gate is open, she doesn't bite or jump on people anymore.. instead she did the whining howl sound as a gesture that she want her milk, a walk, or food.. its sound more like grumbling but she's more obedient than we expected. lol.
@Iamunnamed100 - the main thing i realised in cesar milan video is.. our body posture and attitude projecting towards our dogs are important cause they know and they can sense how we feel (whether we are scared or being confident)..and our hand gesture and voice must be accertain and firm when calling them..(dun try to catch or walk toward them when they do not come to us or run away) just stand and wait and they will come towards u like puppy. im surprise myself when it happens.
@SuzPrab As the show explains many times - don't try these methods at home without consulting a pro. You may think that you're following what Cesar's doing - while in reality you could be doing more harm than good. Your comment is old, so I hope that you succeeded.

Never ever corner a dog, ever. I don't know what he is thinking teaching people that. That's why dogs bite. -_-
